I'm adding a bunch of ICMP nodes to add SAM SSL Cert monitor to. It'd be really nice to be able to edit the application monitor as it assigns it to that node.
I have also had the wish for this feature. I have to try and remember to go and edit the Template later and have caught myself forgetting to back and edit it right away, causing false Advanced Alert emails to go out to the teams, which is never a good thing.
Upon assignment of any application template to a node you are presented with the option to edit the assigned application settings as pictured below.
