I would like to request the ability to use smart card logon during internet sessions. We currently use smart card authentication to logon to our machines, but when connecting to a remote host over the internet, smart card logon is not an option, only Encrypted Window Logon, and Proprietary Challenge and Response are available options. Without smart card logon, we cannot perform administrative tasks on users machines that are not connected to our network. I spent a few hours on the phone/WebEX with a Dameware DOD support technician who finally got information from a product engineer that this option was not available for internet sessions.
