EVENT View and Alert Setup for SNMP TRAPS

Why i am opening this Idea for a Feature Request:

I want to create an Alert & an Event for SNMP Traps.

i was able to create an Alert for an SNMP Trap over the Trapviewer there is the Point for Setting up an alert > this works.

But we want also to have an Event thrown in the View and also the map should Change

the Status....

How could we Setup this ? due to on the Trapviewer alert there is not Point to create an Event also.......

To answer your question, there is currently no way to integrate traps into Orion advanced
alerts or events.If you like, you can create a feature request for this functionality to be added in a future version of the software.
