Decouple NTA license count from NPM license count

I'd like to see NTA licensing decoupled from NPM similar to the way the new NCM licensing works. I currently have a NPM unlimited license, but can't afford NTA on this box, so I have a 100 element NPM that I load NTA on. It would like to get NTA on the same web page as our main NPM.

I feel very strongly about this, I have less than 50 NTA interfaces and a SL2000 which is nearly at capacity, upgrading to a SX would mean I need to also upgrade NTA... Its now looking cheaper to buy a SL100 and NTA100 and run the separately... if EOC actually did reporting better this might be a valid option but it doesn't sadly!

Ran into the same issue. Have unlimited NPM license, require NetfFlow capability for a few nodes, do not require unlimited NTA license.

Solarwinds licensing model encourages us to evaluate products other than Solarwinds that will provide NetFlow capability, and other network management products other than Solarwinds with more reasonable licensing.

I feel strongly about this as well. We may just dropped NTA in favor of another vendor due to the costs.

I've used NTA together with NPM for years and never ever noticed benefits from coupled licenses. Maybe except of IT staff convenience ;-)
