Currently an alert will only roll up one level. I would like to have a map that shows the datacenters. If any component is in an alert status I should see the datacenter designate an issue. When I click on the datacenter it brings up another map that shows the racks on a specific datacenter map. The rack with an issue is marked as having an alerting component. I click on the rack and it brings up another map with a display of all the devices... etc... etc.. I use Visio to create the backgrounds for the maps and the tiered maps works great. Though the alert status only rolls up to the node view of the items in a rack. It doesn't roll up to the view of all racks in a datacenter or the overall view of datacenters. This would be handy.
