Would like the ability to customize on-demand reports. For instance the Orphaned File Report to not include particular File Extensions. .vswp, .hlog etc.
The on-demand reports can be customized, in the current product. However, it does require Python knowledge/programming experience and thus we do not recommend it normally.
Can you give us a little more information on what kind of customizations you are looking for? For example: I'd like to only be able to switch out the extensions used in the orphaned file report using the UI with minimal effort. Or I'd like to have visibility in the code in the on demand reports and be able to tweak them with my high level of technical expertise. OR I'd like to have a version of the Orphaned File report not in the On-demand reporting format provided as default content.
Is the Orphaned file report the only one you're interested in? Of the other reports that you are interested in, what kind of tweaks are you looking to make?
It would probably be all reports. I know 2 off hand the orphaned files to be able to exclude certain files or machines and also the Snapshot report to be able to exclude any machine that start with a particular naming convention. We have a VDI environment and don't need to know those machines have snapshots on them. I am sure there would be others.
