Probably not applicable for all alerts as the trend view would tend to get very busy.
However, for some specific types of alerts, it might be cool to have the option to have DPA automatically notate that a threshold or condition was exceeded or met.
An example would be if I have a custom alert on an active/passive cluster, notate in DPA that the failover had occurred.
