Custom Properties in Manage Nodes interface

It will be nice to have "Nodes Interfaces Custom Properties" in the "Group by:" drop down in the Manage Nodes interface (/Orion/Nodes/Default.aspx)

I have many custom properties to use with the nodes interfaces, but I cannot group them because they are not in the "Group by:" drop down.

Have you gotten any satisfaction with this request?

I have the same issue, but my interfaces have custom properties, and they work fine. But as you say, groups don't share the same.

But even so, the custom properties of the interfaces I monitor are valid but are not shown. There seems to be no way to sort the group members.

It's quite odd that I can't export a CP from, say interfaces, and then import them to groups. But we're just using a database here...why duplicate the values when I should be able to link to the original values, or at least make a CSV or XML file I can upload.

I don't want to operate on the database natively, that would just be dumb, so why are groups not sharing custom properties...or at least make a new type of custom property that DOES share between interface, node, and group!!
