Monitor Database AutoGrowth in AppInsight for SQL

Please provide the ability to monitor individual databases for instances of growth.

Currently, we can pull from AppInsight whether or not a table is set for AutoGrowth and the associated properties. However, we cannot natively create alerts like this:

Alert me when database XX has grown YY times in the last ZZ minutes

This is a metric that is lacking from the current product that competitors are providing.

Is this not essentially what the "Total Size: Percent Change 24 Hrs" metric reflects on the database details view?

That was originally my though, but the team of DBAs I was working with last week were adamant that they wanted to alert on how many times growth had occurred (per database) as opposed to how much growth occurred overall.

They are coming off of CA Nimsoft and had alerts setup for this on that end. I did not get a chance to see exactly how the metric was gathered, but I know it was a high priority item for them.
