Have an option for Reports to honor statement exclusions

Please add a checkbox to the Report create/edit page to exclude statements that have the "Exclude this SQL from Performance-side Trend charts" box checked". Or if you want to really go crazy, let users choose to:

Exclude the excluded statements
Only include the excluded statements
Include all (the current behavior)

In my case, if I don't want to see them in the Trend charts, I don't want to see them in the Top SQL Report either.

When the likes of DBCC CHECKDB on a 2TB DB take disproportionately longer than the remotest long-running/top-consuming T-SQL Query, there is no good reason why the former should dominate the Top-SQL Chart, or even be included in any analysis.

We simply cannot see the important information chart-wise until DBCC drops off the left horizon, which in my case is 3 days as my horizon is 3-days-back to include weekends.

Would SOMEONE at Solarwinds champion this important change, please? And, if we want to consider DBCC a "utility", that happens to be initiated via a T-SQL command, one would suggest that all classes of "utilities" be automatically EXCLUDED until explicitly included...

You should be able to exclude this SQL batch from the Trend charts from the SQL naming/properties screen. Depending on the version of DPA you are running, there are a couple ways to do this:

DPA 11.1 or lower - when you click on the SQL hash/name on the right of the main trend chart, you are taken to a screen where you can name the query. Near the bottom, there is an on/off switch for including/excluding in the trend charts.
DPA 12.0 or higher - when you click on the SQL hash/name on the right of the main trend chart, you are taken to a Query Performance Analyzer screen. From there click on the SQL Properties link near the top right of the screen and you will be taken to the SQL naming screen. Near the bottom, there is an on/off switch for including/excluding in the trend charts.
