Hi,
I was looking for feature where we can utilize the system up time OID (sysUpTime 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3) to create a condition to send out an alert when the system up time of a system exceeds lets say 125 days. We have a large amount of network equipment that have not been rebooted close to a year. Some even more than a year. We would like to be alerted if one of these systems has been up for more than 125 days; using the sysUpTime.
For example the condition trigger may look like.
Trigger Alert when all of the following apply
Comments is equal to Firewall
SysUpTime is greater than or equal to 125 Days (Hours, Minutes, Seconds)
Or another thought was; currently you can use "Last Boot is less than or equal to 08/26/2013" Issue with this method is that you would constantly have to change this date.
So another thought:
Trigger Alert when all of the fallowing apply
Comments is equal to Firewall
Last Boot is greater than or equal to 125 Days (Hours, Minutes, Seconds)
Post thoughts, ideas, methods, changes
