Currently you can map a pair of devices together and link a line between the two...but the only way the line will change color is if one of the ports linking the two is in "Down" status. I'd like to be able to set a line color by the status of a polled component...e.g., if a component is critical, the line it is assigned to would turn red.
Even the ability to have a configurable XML file to map statuses and colors to would be an improvement.
For example, if there is a port which is Operationally up but Administratively down, and you would need to poll via SNMP to get that status, then it would be the Component which would be used to determine if the link would be "down". It is the Administrative status (critical=down) that I'd like to use, not the Operational status.
