I would like to see the ability, for the World Map Resource, to automatically zoom in on a Node based upon it's status, and populate the information for said node. When the node goes into a "down" state it would be fantastic if a flag showing the Node information was populated on the map.
In our environment, we have a 60" TV showing the world map at a default Zoom level showing the US. Each node that is plotted represents a mortgage branch.
In an area such as Colorado there are several branches that are within close proximity and in order to distinguish between them, you need to zoom in tremendously.
(there are actually 6 plotted points in this picture)
I believe it would be advantageous that when a Node (hopefully being able to add groups will be added soon) goes down, to have the map automatically zoom in on the downed node and populate the information affiliated with that node/group. When node status has returned to "Up" it would be nice to automatically return to the default zoom level. The zooming in functionality would be nice, but not necessary. As stated before, when the node goes into a "down" state it would be fantastic if a flag showing the Node information was populated on the map. As if you were hovering your mouse over the node.
Hopefully there are others out there that would find this helpful.
