When running a discovery could it be possible to import the node in lower case vs upper case and add the FQDN to the end of the node caption?

When doing discovery imports the node caption is in UPPER CASE but we use LOWER CASE and it is a pain to have to run a script or touch each imported node again just to change the caption to lower case. Another awesome feature would be the ability to add the FQDN to whatever I wanted to the end of the caption. The reason I ask for this is because we have multiple domains and it makes it easier to read if the FQDN is at the end of the node caption.

To quickly lower the case of all nodes, you could use SQL:

UPDATE Nodes

SET Caption = LOWER(Caption)

I am sure there is an eloquent SQL way to handle the FQDNs, though if you are dealing with multiple domains, this will add complexities.

I will have a play, see if I can get it working.

Personally, I created a node Custom Property called 'Customer', and remove all FQDNs.
