To complete the functionality of ARM and to avoid changing media, it would be great to provide an ARM function for renaming directories in the file system.

That's to difficult to achieve. You have to check for open files and to rename it you have to close files.
And besides renaming directories it would be even greater if it would be possible to move directories, as well.
We Need also the following functions:- renaming directories
- move directory
To automate (plan scheduled Jobs) these todos via ARM.
