I would like to see an additional checkbook in the alert section so that I can suspend an action from occurring by unchecking it but leave the action intact.
Whenever I set up new alerts I initially test them by sending myself an email message, then once the alert is working fine I add syslogs and auto ticket creation via a script
by creating additional alert actions.
Sometimes I need to go back and do additional work on the alert, or if the item that is alerting is causing a huge problem at my company I will want to temporarily
leave the email action in place.
Every time I need to create the alert over from scratch. It would be nice if I could simply disable the action and re-enable it.
