The intent of this request is to try to enforce a user to logout of Orion web GUI. Most users will simply close their browser session which then does not show the user 'logging out' of Orion. This makes it difficult to track actual logged in and active users in Orion, especially in the audit log. If you want to see who logged into Orion that is tracked in the audit log however unless a user actually clicks on log out then there is no record of them leaving Orion.
It would be nice, other than combing through IIS logs, to see who is actually logged into Orion, near real time.
While AppInsight for IIS will show active connections, this may also include multiple connections if a user has multiple sessions opened in their browser - which can skew the number of actual logged in users.
