FEATURE REQUEST - End of Support Report Values assigned by part-number instead of Device

End of Support feature workflow currently implemented is done by device.

However End of Support information is tight to part number and not actual device/node.

So would it be possible that as soon as you update a device End of Support value, NCM would be smart enough and suggest to update automatically for you with same End of Support information all existing devices/nodes with identical part-number.

I'll go a set farther and say it would be helpful to add blades in larger devices like the Cisco 7000. The chassis will last forever, but the Supervisors and blades go EOL all the time.

The challenge I have ran into with this tool is switch stacks. For whatever reason it wants to lump several different machine types into generic categories:

Has anyone identified a way to be able to eliminate the generic grouping? In particular, my inventory under "29xx Stack" has over 400 switches, it's way too much of an effort to try to track this manually.

Alternatively, is there a way to modify this value from the database side?
