My apologies for the delay on getting this answer back to you on the Wireless APs. Unfortunately, I was able to confirm that the software does not have a built-in dependency for wireless APs to their controllers. I will take this information as a feature request, and recommend that you add it as a feature request in our community, THWACK. You will need an account on THWACK to create the feature request, but it is free. If you have no further questions relating to this alert, I will go ahead and close out your case.
