In many application environments the database instance will consist of many databases. DPA allows you to filter the context of the wait data by database but doesn't provide a way from within the tool to report historical trending filtered by database. The only option is to create a custom report as follows:
Custom Report - Top SQL for Database
This is fantastic but the custom reports need to be run from the actual DPA repository. It would be nice to have a Top SQLs for single database Report added to the existing drop down Report drop down list.
This enhancement would allow customers to do historical trend analysis by database without having to drill into the hour view or run a custom report directly against the repository.
