Orion Maps - Ability to copy&paste icon and change assignment of an object

Dear SolarWinds,

As we know, Network Atlas will go away soon. I am doing a lot of maps on a monthly basis, mainly during deployments.
One of the key features in Network Atlas is changing the assignment of an object.

For maps with multiple similar objects, I am creating first object (like device, group or interface) and I am setting up such options as:
1. Custom size
2. Custom icon and colors
3. Custom font and styling etc.

Next, I am copying & pasting this icon multiple times in order to simply change the assignment of the icon to another objects.
This way, I only need to personalize the icon one time and multiple my personalization. It is very easy to do in Network Atlas.

I was not able to find such functionality in Orion Maps. It is a key function for users, which are creating many maps.

@kpmarcin - It sounds like from your summary above, you add and customize an object and then copy and paste it multiple times, then you manually change the assignment of each object in order to get the desired result?

In Orion Maps there is not currently a function in which you can copy and paste, but I am not sure that you would need it in order to accomplish what you are referring too. Why not simply use the enhanced library to search and find all relevant objects, add them to the canvas, and then simply use the multi-edit functionality to customize the size, icon, font, and any other attributes all at once?

Yes, this is exactly what I am doing and I would love to see it in Orion Maps.

This approach works fine for the first time when I am creating maps. However it will not work for modifications.

As an example, let's say I have a map with around 50 custom objects and every day I need to add one more object to this map (due to further network deployment).
Currently, I need to check personalization settings on those added 50 objects, do some screenshots (Snipping tool or Greenshot), add new object and try to configure it the same way (icons, colors, size etc.).
It is even more tricky if I have custom colors (icon,text) and I need to use Notepad to copy&paste values for Red/Green/Blue.
For such map, I would need to do it everyday manually and use mentioned external tools.

I would appreciate to add this function to the road map. Would that be possible?
As an alternative, ability to create custom object templates would also partially resolve this.

Ability to copy format between objects (like in Word) would also solve this feature request.
