I was using the Events tab today to look for nodes that belong to our networking department that may have rebooted in the recent week. It would be very helpful to add an additional filter to search on custom properties. In this way, I could assign nodes to departments and search for only nodes that rebooted that are assigned to the networking department. I can see other use cases so that you can split the data up like you need quickly during a troubleshooting situation. Seems like an easy addition too.
