Currently Patch Manager provides the capability for email notifications on task completion.
What do you think about having an email notification on task Startup?

Personally I would prefer only the post-job email but with more information: start time, end time, details about the task completion, etc...
Details about task completion can be obtained by enabling a "Task Results Export" and then attaching that to the email notification.
I would love to have this feature. I would like to know that my scheduled tasks have kicked off as scheduled, since I've had problems with them getting disabled unintentionally.
This is a great subject ,I am still new to computer programming and group projects, but I am learning. let me explain back in 2010I had strokes that took me away from my career, after recovery I found that I couldn't do what I did before anymore.So I decided to go back to school, and learn more about the technical world.SO far I have done well in my studies.enough avout me, I will just keep an eye on the post and learn from there.

Change control is a part of life in IT. Alerting to start of task would be awesome and goes hand-in-hand with task completion.
Would like to see this.
