Unmatched SNMP ePO 5.1.1 events on LEM 6.2

Hi at all,

I have an issue with SNMP events that came from an ePO server 5.1.1.

The received events are unmatched.

Instead another ePO server 5.3.2 events are correctly matched.

Someon have any idea about the issue?

Firstly you will want to confirm that you have the latest connector version, if you check the settings for your ePO connector you will see a Tool Version at the bottom, the latest appears to be Revision 39.

If it is the latest you'll want to reach out to Support. Most likely they will want a Tool Maintenance by Alias report from the Reports Console for the last 24 hours (export as .rpt format).

There are two ePO connectors, but since both of your systems are greater than 4.5 it is likely just the one connector you will need to take a look at.

Hi,

I upgrade the Revision from 20 to 39 and the version from 6.2 to 6.3.1.

Now arrive two events, one event is unmatched, and the other one is matched but their field are mismatched.

The best course of action when you get unmatched data and something that you see as mismatched is to open up a support case. That is the only way to adjust things to cover unmatched data and something you see is being improperly placed in an event.

Make sure that the mismatched part you are seeing is talked over with support. They will work through this with you.
