Dear Solarwinds Product Dev team,
Currently we are monitoring the availability of the critical infrastructure services based on the groups. We create transactions and monitors them from different locations and create group with all the transactions monitoring from different locations which belongs to same service.
Ex: We are monitoring internet availability by monitoring the "google" page from different player locations,
Player 1: Google
Player 2: Google
We have a group which consists of above 2 elements and we consider the service is down if both objects are down. We are calculating the availability of the service based on the group availability.
Sometimes one of the object is down because of some issues ( network/server ...etc ) and the other object goes to unknown state as orion can't poll the information. In this case group status is showing as down even though one of the object status is unknown which is affecting the availability of the service.
Is it possible to make the group status to "Unknown" if one of the object status is "Down" and others status is "Unknown". Please share your ideas and let me know your comments.
