Orion Maps would benefit greatly from having selectable layers that can include or exclude information from view, like Microsoft Visio does. This would allow engineers to use a single map for laying out multiple logical topologies, by building out each logical topology in a layer that can be 'turned on or off.' We could accomplish this by having the ability to assign shapes, text, colors, etc to layers, and then having a mechanism to enable or disable the layers we want, to see logical networks 'overlayed' on the mostly Layer 1 + Layer 2 capabilities of Orion Maps.
