Samsung has rolled out a tool called KNOX that allows organizations to "containerize" enterprise access and applications. Mobile Admin would be a perfect fit for KNOX since it would allow simple but secure access to servers inside our corporate network.
I don't believe this would require any rewriting of the client, just making it available to download from the KNOX store.
