The network discovery page (/Orion/Discovery/Default.Aspx) is super outdated. The page really, really needs an update.
What I'd like to see is:
Customizable fields of display data (such as displaying information from the Orion.DiscoveryProfiles table), including things like:
# of nodes found, # of nodes changed, # of interfaces changed, which polling engine, etc.
It's absolutely painful to go through, enough that I made my own dashboard page to generally get around it but there's not even an easily accessible equivalent of a detailspagelink I could add to the discoveries from a dashboard.
Please, please modernize this. On the discoveries themselves, I'd at least like to see an option to skip between each tab of the discovery to modify data instead of having to go from the start and go "next" through every single page just fix one element in a discovery we want to modernize.
From an API standpoint, I'd love to see discovery modified and updated so that we can actually force discovery from a specific polling engine and also be able to specify up front the things we want to filter out - as this tends to get ignored when I try to powershell a discovery.
