Is it possible to use a WPM template a s a SAM component?
I have Linux script monitors that alert using custom properties. How does onedo something similar with a transaction?

I am not %100 sure I understand your question but you cannot use WPM transactions directly as a SAM component.
You can however create dependencies between transactions and applications in SAM and custom properties can be applied to transactions.

One of my colleagues figured this out. It's possible to assign custom properties toa recording which can then be used in alerts. The trick is to do it from the "ManageCustom Properties" screen. I was trying to do it in a similar way to setting CPs ona SAM script.
