Upgrade and Relocate IPMonitor7.5 - which first?

Question

Am upgrading IP Monitor from 7.5 to 8.5 and relocating it to a Virtual Machine.

Any recommendations on which to perform first? I imagine the relocation first would make it easier to revert if the upgrade went south.

I would agree with the moving ipMonitor 7.5 to virtual host, taking snapshot, and then trying upgrade.   Just make sure you park your license before you revert to previous snapshot.
