For current SAM monitoring application performance monitoring just stay in the stage, hoping SAM can increase overall application monitoring and analysis solutions,Such as the overall environment, the user's application, if access is slow, then Sam administrators can tell if a problem occurs, such as a database query is very slow or very slow loading web pages。The key is the same type of software Solarwinds have launched programs and related products, such as CA, OPmanager etc.

SAM 6.0 (currently in beta) includes a feature called AppInsight for SQL which provides far greater depth in SQL server monitoring than previously possible in SAM. This includes information such as longest running/most expensive queries and much, much more. I recommend signing up for the beta and trying it out for yourself.

As for web performance monitoring I would suggest checking out Web Performance Monitor which includes waterfall charts that provide granular details to help isolate the cause of web performance issues, such as slow DNS resolution, network latency, bandwidth, or the web server itself. If you haven't Tried out WPM before I recommend giving it a try.

This is a very cool feature, especially for the monitoring and analysis of SQL database, but some of my other questions:

1, we find that in many cases the users, more users to use Oracledatabase and DB2 database or MySQL in a corporate environment,SAM 6 will not be for these database monitoring and further analysis?

2, can realize the integration of multiple application systemmonitoring and analysis, a ERP system such as the user'sbackground, relates to the Oracle database, WebLogic middleware,Apache Web server, there are a number of other applications, if end users found ERP system cannot access or access is slow, whether SAM can quickly tell the administrator is the the part of a problem,what is the specific problems, such as the Oracle database SQLquery is very slow, or middleware problems
