We have an issue where AppInsight for SQL is filling up our SQL Logs with the error below every poll, even though we are collecting the metrics successfully.
"SSPI handshake failed with error code 0x8009030c, state 14 while establishing a connection with integrated security; the connection has been closed. Reason: AcceptSecurityContext failed. The Windows error code indicates the cause of failure. The logon attempt failed."
We opened up a case with Support and the outcome was that this is a cosmetic issue due to how AppInsight for SQL functions. (https://support.solarwinds.com/Success_Center/Server_Application_Monitor_(SAM)/Logon_errors_in_SQL_Logs_on_a_monitored_SQL_server)
We would like to request a feature where we can disable this functionality on a per-instance SQL server basis.
