Regarding excluding the backups of Down and unmanaged nodes

I have scheduled the NCM backup to run daily and send me the results via email so the issue that I am facing is that we have unmanaged nodes and down nodes and they reflect every day in the email that I receive and it's not possible to remove and add each and every node manually from the backup.

Is there any way to automate this i.e automatically skip the downloading of the configuration for down and unmanaged nodes.

There are some interesting options to investigate here:

Suspend data collection or alerts for nodes in Maintenance Mode

Polling Settings

Configure Database Settings

Open each link and search for "unmanage" on the resulting page. You might get some ideas . . .

I exclude down nodes with values of down, unreachable, or unmanaged Nodes from my Configuration Back-Up job by using the Dynamic Selection. You should be able to use the add multiple Conditions with "Or" function to exclude Device Status (Textual) with an Is Not "Desired Value".
