Account limitation: Ability to easily build an account limitation to see every object that is not "fully green" for every object.

I want to be able to buld views to see anything that is not a status of "green".

The current account limitations have a few abilities that come close, but not all the way. There is an enhancement request in the voting stages to add account limitations by object, which might be able to do this if limitations for status coudl be chosen for individual objects/classes....

Example of current limitations that don't *quite* do this, but are close:

- If I use the built in limitation of "Device Status" and I choose every status except "up". The problem is that this is appied only to the node objects and nothing else. If I do this I can only see nodes that are not "up", but if a node is "up" and has every application on it in a "down" or other non-green status I cannot see any of those nodes. In addition, if I go to the SAM tab and all my apps are "down" or some other non-healthy status I see none of them if all my nodes are "up" (the SAM view is basically blank). If I remove the account limitation, I can see all the "up" nodes and then see which ones have unhealthy applications because they have a ...?sub-status?.. icon that is yellow/grey/red/etc.

Currently there is no built in or ability to build an account limitation in the account limitation builder based on Application status which might alleviate this problem, however, since there is a built in limitation for Interface status and one for Node Status ( and no other objects) I'm not sure that adding Application status would help unless account limitations could be applied for all object statuses OR additional statuses added for Node so that all the node sub-statuses (node up-substatus down, node up-substatus warning, node up-substatus unknown, etc) could be chosen.

I won't vouch for the speed of it:

Create a group with two dynamic queries. One for "Nodes Not Up" and another in the same group "Apps Not Up"

Give the account a limitation of the single group that you just created

Thanks! It works much better than just setting an account limitation by node status. I've had slownes issues with certain web resources that had groups built out of groups, etc. and this group is slightly "slow" but not too bad at all, possibly because I don't have a lot of non green nodes + applications (~ 200 objects in my group)

FYI: This works "better" than the simple "by node status" account limitation on:

- If you have an "All nodes" resource, it shows the nodes exactly as desired. ANything with non-grees sub status is shown along with non green nodes.

- The "Application Health overview" resource populates app status

- The SAM summary shows the apps that have issues (yes!)

FYI: Things this does not work as well on:

- Since it is a group, and the account is limited by it, If you have an "All Groups" resource in a view it shows just that group (you lose all the nice sub groups that may have been created for organization). Opening that group shows all of the objects in a single list...and this loads pretty slowly

- The "Application Health overview" resource sjows "green" apps ...probably due to the next point below...

- The SAM "All applications" tree view shows apps that are all green...but are on nodes that have "yellow sub status" ( due to CPU/memory/interface/etc, not green). I would wish the green app woudl not show up.
