We have had occasional times where a SAM monitor enters an unknown state. Once of the parts of the monitor will have an error such as cannot connect. To correct this and clear the error we have to unmanage and remanage the monitor. This will trigger an initial poll of the item that had the error. Having a button to do this would eliminate this step.
