It would be helpful to users if there was an in app banner notification when the events_statements_summary_by_digest table is full to notify them that DPM isn't able to capture all query digests.
Interesting idea, I know you could setup a custom poller and notification in Orion to query and notify on that. Making a custom metric in DPA would probably work, but then polling would get executed and displayed for all targets of the configured class I think?
We currently capture this metric in DPM and you could set up a threshold based alert on that metric whenever it's greater than zero. Sometimes however users are unaware of this metric and that's where a banner notification would help alert them when they log into DPM.
