I'm sure many of us simply install the latest version over the old version but on several occasions something gets hosed and had to perform a "Clean install" to fix it. When it comes to updates which basically re-installs new over the old with Solarwinds, I would like to see a "Clean Install" check box option within any module of Solarwinds you try to install. It should delete any residual stuff from the front end server and allow for a clean install. Very similar with Nvidia and their display drivers; they give you the option to clean install. This could possibly save us from frustrating troubleshooting issues.
This would also be nice clean out the old packages that are found in your %programdata%\Solarwinds\Installers\ folder.
