Advanced Search options for Nodes and Interfaces

I think NPM should have an Advanced Search option for Nodes and Interfaces. I envision the Search as offering Boolean search options (like what we have for the Trigger and Reset conditions on the alerts. For example, let's say that I am need to do a very quick search as following Search for Nodes:

EAST region

AND

Hostname LIKE '%RT0%'

AND

Vendor = 'Cisco'

AND

(IOS LIKE '12.5%'

IOS LIKE '12.4%')

Of course, we can create a report with links to each field (or create a view). However, I think it would be nice if NPM had Advanced Search "out of the box" --- without need for reports or views. This would be a handy feature for users, especially those that do not have access to the Reports link and do not have rights to customize views. What do you think? If you like this idea, I'd welcome your vote. Also, if you think this Advanced Search option can be improved, I'd like to hear from you as well. Thanks!!!

Balki 1429, I had forgotten about that feature. I will install it onto my lab server and check it out. If it works as I hope, I'll add it to our production serves. I will reply to the Global Search Technical Preview w/feedback on that applet. Thanks!

The advanced search wouldn't even need to be that complex. If one could use Regular Expressions in the normal search window, that would help tremendously.

e.g. "ABC[PROD|TEST]123" would return ABCPROD123 and ABCTEST123 but not ABCQA123 or ABCDR123.
