I'm not sure if i got it right...

Hi,

I'm just evaluating NTA in a seperate VM and I'm a bit confused.

In NTA can only analyse & report traffic of devices which are monitored in NPM?

So if I just add the NetflowProbes to NPM I can't analyse the mail traffic of our Exchange Servers until I add them to NPM?

Correct. NTA is not a stand alone module and needs integration with Orion.

The routers that are sending NetFlow data must be managed by Orion; however, you can definitely see traffic from an Exchange server that is not monitored by Orion.

As long as the traffic goes through the NetFlow monitored routers/switches of course....

hmm in that case I do something wrong. If I search for SQL traffic for example, NTA shows me the Router as endpoint ...
