there is Daily Weekly and Monthly I think an hourly report would be just as beneficial. that way the following would be possible;
If a full backup job takes 8-9 hours normally on any given week, and hour 10 has come and the job is still running for an email to be sent stating that the job is still running. so that if this job takes an additional 3 hours to run, that every hour the job runs long a notification is sent stating job in progress so then once the job is finally complete after 3 hours or however long it takes another notification is sent with the overall status of the job failed or successfull.
Currently the only way to do this is to setup a scheduled report on CFS of in progress and then do a historical analysis on the previous backups for that client/group and for every hour after that schedule that same report so that you can be notified if a critical business backup is taking long.
