Unmanage Utility/Scheduled Task Behavior - Retain Existing Un-Manage Setting

I'd like to see this feature:  When unmanage scheduled tasks run against a node/or application, a check is made to retain (and not overwrite) any existing unmanage setting that may have been applied manually.  I'd forgotten this behavior when I unmanaged my application last Friday for four days - due to lower than normal activity (did not want alert messages.)  I was reminded of the behavior when I saw lots of of mail messages from over a long weekend where the application became managed again due to scheduled task action.

I agree.  I have some items that are unmanaged every evening, but I wanted a subset of this group unmanaged for Saturday (during an upgrade).  I entered the Saturday entry via the Console.  When the unmanaged nightly job ran, it wiped out my Saturday entry!!  Luckily, I had the foresight to create a report & added it to the view to show the current and future unmanaged apps, so I saw it first thing this morning.  As a workaround, I had to schedule my one-time Saturday downtime in the scheduler (which is not very user friendly & the data doesn't appear to be accessible from an Orion report).  This feature needs an overhaul indeed.  My console users need to be able to schedule outages & see what's upcoming.
