Is it possible to customize the subject of a notification email in Virtualization Manager? If so, could someone explain how? I'd like to put the name of the virtual machine in the email for alerts about that vm.

Hello, if the alert is designed for particular VM then you can insert VM's name into alert name.
Second option is to set "alert.rollup" = false. See Re: Virtual Manager e-mail alerts thread for details. But keep in mind that all alerts' emails will be sent separately after the change.
