Upgrading ipMonitor 7 to 8.5 - Parking licenses?

Greetings,

Have inherited an ipMonitor 7 installation that needs upgrading. Instructions on the website tell me to "park" the license but I only have the "deactivate" option on my screen on the SolarWinds Support site.

 Do I just barge ahead with the upgrade, or do I have to "deactivate" the licenses first before reactivating them (and how do I reactivate?)

Good day OzBob,

In order to park your license, simply proceed with the following:

1. Open a CMD window
2. Go to the \ipMonitor7\ directory.
3. Type "ipm7config -park"

This will start the wizard in order to park your license.
