Bandwidth Monitor Run-time Error

Has anybody experienced the following error when adding new nodes to the bandwidth monitor? "Run-time error '-2147217887 (800040e21) Invalid argument"
This results in the bandwidth monitor being shut down and the node apearing with a question mark status.
