What is the best way to use Solarwinds in a Home Environment?

My current home set up consists of both wired and wireless devices with a networked NAS device. I would like to evaluate Solarwinds over this set up but I want ideas as to what I should be looking at (PC conditions, network speed etc)

- x1 Billion Modem/Router (Main Network Entry)

- x1 Linux PC (Ubuntu - Wireless)
