Bug or feature request?

I was going to post this under a feature request but could not find such for EOC.

This has been a chronic problem since the early days of EOC. When editing a view and using the drop down's it defaults to a certain character width. If you have more than one property with the same letters you can't tell which to select.

Can you please expand this so we can read the property? Guessing is a pain since it takes EOC so long to refresh after making a change.

I have included a screen shot.

Before this request is addressed in EOC, you can change the width of those dropdowns in CSS file. Open the \EOC\Website\styles\ModalPopup.css file and change line:

.resourceLevelList { width: 40%; }

.resourceLevelList { width: 80%; }

So, I'm guessing that you have 3 or 4 columns in that view. The widths of the combo boxes are a percentage of the column's width, so yea, that does make it tough. There is really no reason why the combo boxes couldn't be a bigger percentage.. As you can see, there is plenty of room left.

I'll file a bug in development and we'll see what we can do.

Jan, worked like a champ!!! Thank you so much. I will make this change on all our EOC's - keeping in mind that it will probably have to be reset after every upgrade or configuration wizard run. I can live with that.

Great, glad to hear it. But you won't need to concern yourself about upgrades. This fix is now in the codebase and will be in the next release of EOC.
