Rounding off values displayed on email alerts

Hi all,

I am duplicating and configuring some alerts on VMAN. Basically I setup the VMs with large Snapshots alets. I need to get the snaps displayed in Gigabytes as opposed to bytes. Therefore I added a " div (1024*1024*1024) to the notification value but I want to get the result on the email alert to be rounded off to 2 decimals

Current email alert: VM_NAME (6.2435204004868865 gigabyte)

Ideal email alert: VM_NAME (6.24 gigabyte)

I have already tried, without success, the following: ((/virtualMachine/snapshotStorageSize) div (1024*1024*1024),2)

I would appreciate if someone could assist.

Hi,

there is round function in xpath but is round only to integer. Due this you need to multiply number by 100, round and then divide by 100.

Try this in the find field:

round(((/virtualMachine/snapshotStorageSize)div(1024*1024*1024))*100)div(100)
