Can a separate instance of supernets/subnets be created in IPAM?

Hello all!

I'm new to Solarwinds and have been assigned with labeling the supernets/subnets of the entire network. After finishing everything, I've attempted to drag and drop different subnets into a group or a supernet and quickly found that if the subnets did not exist in the same hierarchy, then I could not organize them the way I see fit. My next step was going to be to scrap all of the entries and use subnet discovery to populate everything and label all addresses from there - to which my superiors told me that is not an option.

Is there a way to create a separate instance of entries from which I can cross reference and fill in the blanks? This would be very helpful.

If it matters at all, the versions of the Orion Platform and IPAM are listed below:

Orion Platform 2017.3.4 SPA

IPAM 4.6.0

Try using Groups(not hierarchy group) instead of Supernet.

donrobert5 thank you, this does help as far as not deleting all entries and starting over... Is there any way to create a separate instance?
