We have an HTTP post request that is a global template. This works only on some of our alerts. I am confused why it works on some but it doesn't work on others, I'm not really sure where to start to troubleshoot?
My first guess would be that the alerts that it doesn't work might be for a different entity type? The variables you can use are student depending on what type of alert object you are working with, variables for a node would be the most typical, but you'd need to tweak your template if the alert was from an interface or a volume.
I thought that was going to be an issue as well. The alert property works on UCS fans, UCS PSU, VM, Virtual host, node, routing neighbor and interface. Same template.
