We are moving to Teams Voice and need to get the E911 portion figured out before the migration. So the Teams VoIP Phones uses LLDP and only reports back to MS Teams Cloud the Chassis ID being the MAC of the switch (or primary/master switch in a stack) and Interface Name. That is it. It will not do switch name, custom LLDP Med such as address, management IP of the switch, nothing really useful. I have consulted with our consultant and he confirmed this.
Is there a way to pull a report or do an export to get the Chassis ID? There is a Chassis ID report for Cisco but that is for Serial Numbers which does not seem to work with the newer Catalysts. I am thinking of a Universal Poller maybe an option.
